Created by Wicked composer Stephen Schwartz, Godspell invites audiences into a community where timeless parables unfold through rich harmonies, clever comedy, and moving moments of genuine emotion. At its core is a story of compassion, love, and the enduring power of human connection.
This 2012 revised version adds fresh energy to the beloved musical with contemporary arrangements, modern cultural references, and inventive staging – offering a vibrant experience that feels both familiar and new. From the iconic joy of Day by Day to the stirring Beautiful City, this production offers something for both long-time fans and newcomers alike.
