We are here – A Kaleidoscope inspired community exhibition
The beginnings of queer art were where sexuality was unseen and visual codes were used in clandestine ways. Artists were inspired to use their work to discuss their sexual identity and to document and celebrate depictions of the queer experience.
This community exhibition, inspired by the Horsham Regional Art Gallery exhibition Kaleidoscope, is a celebration of the queer experience by artists within the community. A documentation of resilient people that are thriving and growing while magnifying their experiences and embracing the meaning of queer through an artist’s gaze.
Organised by Horsham Rural City Council
