Michael Willson, the AFL’s Chief Photographer, captures the intensity, passion, and emotion of Australian Football both on and off the field.
This exhibition offers a unique insight into the game, documenting iconic moments, acts of sportsmanship, and the personal stories of players from both the men’s and women’s leagues. Some moments in footy become bigger than the game. Through Willson’s lens, visitors experience the drama and heart of the sport from a perspective shaped by his deep knowledge of, and affection for, both photography and the game itself.
