Light’s Cutting Edge – Gayle Cykner
The Raillery Hub Art Gallery in St Arnaud is delighted to exhibit the work of Gayle Cykner at its next exhibition.
Gayle Cykner is a regional Australian artist based in Victoria whose work focuses on finding beauty in the ordinary aspects of daily life.
She focuses on the subject matter by specialising in capturing local scenes, including backyards, laneways, and overlooked everyday vistas. She works primarily with oil on canvas to create detailed and often vibrant depictions of these scenes. Her work is described as a celebration of local environments and honouring the ordinary.
