Fulham Homestead
Fulham Homestead is a piece of living history from the 1840s. This treasure has a Guesthouse, tastefully restored into a comfortable modern home full of charm and history, with three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, laundry, dining space, and Wi-Fi for up to eight guests.
The property includes farm animals and a garden leading to the Glenelg River, now with a new split Heat/Cooling system.
Originally Fulham Station, one of the first properties in the area, it once spanned 67,000 acres, now reduced to surround the historical buildings. Rich in history and charm, the buildings are built with 2-foot-thick iron stone quarried on the property.
The restored Guesthouse accommodates eight people with two queen beds, four single beds, three bedrooms, one with an ensuite. It has a fully functional laundry, kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, dining space, and a sunroom overlooking a majestic Moreton Bay fig tree.
The Guesthouse is surrounded by open space and a garden leading to the Glenelg River, with one parking space at the front entrance. The owners live in the main Homestead, 15m away, and are available if needed. Set on the edge of the Wimmera district among farming lands on the Glenelg River, a car is essential. This is a working farm, so expect animals and noises. Camp sites also available on the river.
